Maintenance Technician. . .

Currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily communities around Indianapolis. Looking for a unique and stable opportunity? Join the BAM team! This full-time position offers an excellent compensation package!

Essential Job Functions – The individual must be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Complete all maintenance requests in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for market ready condition.
  • Repair and maintain simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
  • Install and repair carpeting and tile.
  • Repair, install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as water heaters, lavatories, toilets, dishwashers.
  • Maintain lawns, grounds, landscaping and parking lots including snow removal.
  • Repair and maintain building exteriors and roofs.
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities.
  • Cleaning and housekeeping of common areas and vacant units.
  • Provide emergency resident support after office hours.
  • Boiler experience a plus

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
  • EPA Certification strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in the maintenance field desirable.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of residence. Must have reliable vehicle.
  • Able to work overtime and emergency call in.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.

Compensation

  • Full-Time Position (40 Hours a week)
  • $15.00-$20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Assistant Property Manager. . .

As an Assistant Property Manager for Lexington Green/Villa Capri you will work in conjunction with the Property Manager to service our Lexington Green/Villa Capri community in Speedway, Indiana. You will be responsible for generating leads, following up with prospective residents and preparing all documentation for the lease signing.

Essential Job Functions – The individual must be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Promptly answer phone, Internet and email inquiries with the goal of obtaining an appointment to show the apartment community to prospective residents

  • Promptly follow up with prospective residents whom have not yet leased to continue the sales process and secure the sale.
  • Close the sale with prospective resident and obtain a security deposit and application for an apartment or waiting list.
  • Prepare all necessary documents for the application process and leas signing
  • Provide and explain all necessary documents to potential residences
  • Screen, interview, and notify applicants of their acceptance or rejection as a residents in accordance with company procedures, Equal Housing Opportunity requirements and any applicable program regulations
  • Assist Property Manager with advertising and promotions for the property in relation to prospective residents and resident retention.
  • Complete and submit all weekly reports in a timely manner to the Property Manager and the Regional Property Manager.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with HUD regulations and Fair Housing requirements.
